Today was my last max effort upper body day before the meet. I worked up to my opener (110lbs) and did it two times with a pause at the bottom. I also did max rep at 60lbs and got 21 reps. Later I did a superset of chest supported rows (45lbs) and band pull aparts (red band)- 3 sets of 8 reps each. I also did 3 sets of shrugs on the smith machine with 45lbs on each side. To finish off I did 3 sets of 8 preacher curls. I weighed in today at 109.8.
Food:
0450-protein shake
0730-2 eggs, 1/2 cup of okra
1045-4oz chicken, 1/2 cup of okra
1530-handful of cashews
1730-post workout shake with scoop of creatine
2000- 5oz tuna, small salad with oil and vineger and a handful of blueberries, 1/4 cup sweet potato
*gallon of water consumed today
